Last year, 2024, ended on a slightly different note for me. And the New Year started to the same tune. We have been so consumed in our renovation project that everything has suffered, including my photography. So, we decided to go to a garage party with some live music and are we glad we did.

I had a quick thought about taking my camera but scrapped it as the idea was to see some friends and enjoy the show. But an eclectic garage jam session does present some photo opportunities. Fortunately, an iPhone can take a decent shot and the HEIC images are compatible with Lightroom. When I checked out the images I had to work them a bit.

Photography is about being situational and that photographers should be flexible and adaptable. Part of me feels like I missed an opportunity not bringing my camera. Another part says this is not my standard of landscape, cityscape or travel. The part that matters says don't be a camera snob and take the shot.
